Biotrivam Agro Fuel is a limited liability partnership in the biomass fuel trade: we buy crop residue from farmers, and sell biomass pellets to industry in place of coal and firewood.
Why we do this
Every harvest leaves husk, shells and straw behind. Burnt in the open, it gives nothing but smoke.
For the farmer
A price for what the harvest leaves.
For industry
A fuel that boilers and furnaces built for coal and firewood can burn instead.
For the air
Residue that is sold is residue that is not burnt in the open.
What we do
We buy crop residue
From farmers: rice husk, paddy straw, mustard husk, groundnut shell, wheat straw, cotton stalk and soybean husk.
We sell biomass pellets
For boilers and furnaces built for coal and firewood, with the figures for each pellet.
How we work
The price comes first.
It is agreed with you before anything is loaded or ordered.
The weight is on a slip.
Every load we buy is weighed on a weighbridge, and you get a copy of the slip.
Paid for every load.
Every seller is paid at the price agreed before loading.
The figures are written down.
Each pellet's calorific value, moisture and ash are published, and a buyer can try a sample first.
