The weight on the slip, less anything taken off for dampness, at the price per quintal agreed before loading.
What the harvest leaves has a price.
We buy rice husk, paddy straw, mustard husk, groundnut shell, wheat straw, cotton stalk and soybean husk. You know the price before we load, you see the weight, and you get paid.

Questions from sellers
What if my residue is damp?
A load wetter than it should be is paid for at less of its weight. A load too wet to keep is not bought.
What do I get in writing?
A copy of the weighbridge slip, and a record of the sale with both weights, the price and what you were paid, in English and Hindi.
What do you need from me?
Your name and where you are from. For a large sale, also your PAN.
